About the TCO15 Yogyakarta Event

The 2015 Topcoder Open is visiting many countries around the world! Join us for our first-ever event in Yogyakarta, Indonesia.

World’s best designers showdown live on stage!

Event includes:
• Food! Yes, free food, snacks, and drinks all day to keep you going.
• Networking; come meet some other Topcoder members in your area!

Event is limited to the first 100 registrants. All attendees at the event will get a TCO15 t-shirt!

We’ve got some awesome competitions planned for all attendees on Tuesday! $400 in prizes to put your design skills to the test so be sure to bring your laptop!

Competitions include:
• Two Pixel Pusher Contests and
• Three RapidUX Challenges

We may even have some speed round contests mixed in!

What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?

BY ROAD:
Yogyakarta main bus station is Giwangan, 10km to the southeast of the EastParc Hotel.
A bus, prepaid taxi / cab service can be used to reach the event.

BY TRAIN:
Main Yogyakarta station, commonly called Tugu Station handles all business and executive class trains. Tugu Station placed 3km to the west of EastParc Hotel. A bus, prepaid taxi / cab service can be used to reach the event.

Is my registration/ticket transferrable?

Sure, but only one person per ticket is allowed.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

Yes please, if you want to get in and if you want the t-shirt!

The name on the registration/ticket doesn’t match the attendee. Is that okay?

That is fine, but only one person per ticket is allowed.

Where can I accommodate during the event?

If you are travelling from outside Yogyakarta, you can make your arrangements for accommodation. Yogyakarta is a tourist place, and there are a wide range of hotels available. We also have a limited numbers of rooms in the University hostel campus, available on nominal rates, on first come first serve basis.
